At a special meeting held on February 24, 2009, the MASS Committee voted to approve the publication of the Account Origination and Maintenance Standards release 1.0 as an Industry Draft.

The components of the proposed release 1.0 standard include the following:

• mass-aom-schemas-1-0-industry-draft.zip: This is an archive containing the MASS account origination and maintenance message schema.
• mass-aom-message-reference-1-0-industry-draft.xls: This is a spreadsheet containing reference documentation for the MASS AOM messages.
• mass-aom-routing-proto-1-0-industry-draft.xsd: This is a prototype schema representing guidance from the Account Origination and Maintenance subcommittee on implementation of routing information for communication of MASS messages.

Industry participants may submit comments on the proposed standard by posting a comment to this article through March 26, 2009. (Site registration is required to post comments.)
